More about me
I’ve been studying
acoustic guitar for years, mainly interested in country fingerstyle affected by fantastic Tommy Emmanuel. I’m maintaining a python module guitarHarmony inspired by some wonderful music books for learners practicing. I like to collect and play all kinds of wired cubes and has a lifetime fastest record 12.88s on Rubik’s cube. Billiard games are my favorite as well, no matter 8-ball, 9-ball and/or snooker. I do not have strong desire of winning any more but fortunately I’m always enjoying the playing and watching competitions. One of my best friend Wang once said
Nothing you can predict, make your best strategies and keep going, you know, the ball is round.
He may be correct though I don’t see what’s the connection between a round ball and prediction. Whatever, I do think balls are round is important.
Many years later, as he faced the firing squad, Colonel Aureliano Buendía was to remember that distant afternoon when his father took him to discover ice. At that time Macondo was a village of twenty adobe houses, built on the bank of a river of clear water that ran along a bed of polished stones, which were white and enormous, like prehistoric eggs. — Gabriel García Márquez
One day you pick up the guitar and you feel like a great master, and the next day you feel like a fool. It’s because we’re different every day, but the guitar is always the same…beautiful. — Tommy Emmanuel
