I am a fifth year Ph.D. student in Industrial & Systems Engineering at Lehigh University, working with Prof. Martin Takáč in OptML group. My research focus on developing practical algorithms and their theoretical analysis for large scaled optimization problems in machine learning, especially in second-order methods and non-convex optimization.
Before coming to Lehigh, I earned my Bachelor degree in School of Mathematical Sciences of Nankai University, Tianjin China. After that, I continued my master degree under supervisor of Prof. Qingzhi Yang on multi-linear algebra (tensor) problems.
I kept a small blog with some research notes/useful tools/troubleshooting tips which I’m hoping might be useful for others someday.
During summer 2015 & 2016 I worked at Siemens Corporate Research at Princeton, NJ.
During summer 2017 I worked at Alliance Data, Precima Division at Chicago, IL.
During summer 2018, I worked working at JPMorgan Chase & Co. at New York, NY.
I’m expected to graduate in Jan 2019 and looking for full-time opportunities. You might wanna hit the BUTTON.
